So much spare time. What will you do with it?

Hi,
Welcome to the 11th edition. Did you know you can read all past editions in our archive?

The subject this time round is Self Driving Cars and Tech + Transport.

_____

Are you having a fun week? I’m hoping so. ????   I’ve returned to the flight deck with wonderful memories of skiing at Mt Hotham last week and seeing massive, spring snow flakes on Tuesday.

Did you see our fun video? It was created using Biteable which is an ultra-quick video-maker for creating short clips people love.

I’ve two remaining coaching sessions in the next fortnight so if you’re keen to get rid of those thoughts of “I should fix my LinkedIn, website, setup Social Media, start blogging, grow an online audience, or…”, get in touch. Currently our coaching package of two, 45 minute sessions, with support in between is A$500. After this coaching, your impressive online profile can be left for many months or used as a base to build on and grow business leads and audiences.

You future car will drive itself. Get ready!

OK, here comes another meaty, tech-driven conversation.

Are you ready for a self-driving car?

I love the mountains, beaches and road-trips so you can imagine I’ve enjoyed driving in the past. My interest in driving changed when I started imagining what I could be doing if I didn’t need to drive… reading, looking at the scenery, chatting with friends, eating, sleeping, working, watching a movie… Yep, you guessed it, I became a self-driving convert.

“Bring it on!” I say!

Let’s meet in the car.
How will easier transport change our lives?
“Around 2020, …You will call a car on your phone; it will show up at your location and drive you to your destination.”
Udo Gollub / Singularity University Summit
As a qualified engineer, I’m fascinated by the data supporting claims that the self-driving cars are safer.
“Self-driving cars exist today that are safer than human-driven cars in most driving conditions.” Chris Dixon
